MUSIC KIDS LOVE
It starts with Alphabet Songs…phonics instruction at its best!
It starts with music…26 songs for 26 letters and one beautiful picture book.
STEP ONE
Letter Sounds
Children learn the letter sounds by listening to Melody Lou’s alphabet songs, then review with letter cards and an alphabet poster.
STEP TWO
Fine Motor Skills
Children develop fine motor skills to prepare for writing. Not only will they develop strength and coordination as they color pictures of their Critter Crew friends, cut & paste scenes from the songs, and form clay creations, they will have constant letter review!
STEP THREE
Sounding Out Words
Children combine letters to sound out simple words and create their own delightful illustrations in the Little Write & Artist Book. (No worries! If your kiddos don’t insist on drawing everything all by themselves–which they might!–there are easy illustrations in the back you parents & teachers can model for them.)
STEP FOUR
I can read!
Children read their first book! It’s a book they will have had read to them many times before (because you will read it to them) and–just wait!–they will be so proud of themselves that they can read the words they recognize. This book is called I am a Frog, and it is actually five little books in one.
